Our Vision - Proclaiming the Holy Word of God!
The Banner Design
We, at Fire Within Banners, would like to present to you a new concept in banners. We believe that the initial art work for this banner was given by the Holy Spirit. Exodus Web Design and Graphics Studio created the graphics from that art work. The Lord provided the insights into the significance of the artistic presentation.
- The flag as a backdrop: the American flag, represents religious freedom.
- The ten stars: represents the Ten Commandments.
- Three stripes of red: represents the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and by the stripes and blood of Christ we are healed.
- Parchment paper scroll: The Constitution of the United States of America was written on parchment paper and the Ten Commandments is the foundation of the Constitution.
- Fire burning around the edges of the parchment paper: The voice of God spoke out of the fire, declaring His covenant-the Ten Commandments.
- One nation under God: Everything that is being challenged or removed from the public eye was to be in this banner.
Dedication of this Banner
We dedicate this banner to the youth of this nation, for your lives are a blessing to us and of great value to God.Displaying the Banner
The Ten Commandments banner was created to proclaim that the United States of America was founded on the Holy Word of God. Designed for outdoor public display, it can adorn our homes, offices, private schools and, churches. Throughout history, banners, have been carried at the head of a military band, or body to indicate a rallying point. This banner is to declare individually and corporately, that this nation, is, "One Nation Under God." The definition of banners, in Easton's Bible Dictionary states, when God sets up or gives a banner, it imports His presence, protection and aid extended to His people. Psalm 60:4 says, "You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth." NASB We believe this banner will inspire a rallying point and a prayer focus for our nation and will prompt Christians in this nation to arise and declare that biblical truths dwell at the very core of our country's moral law. May this banner be to the praise and honor of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that the Father may be glorified. The Ten Commandments
Some Americans oppose the public display of the Ten Commandments thinking that it violates the constitutional separation of church and state. However, this is not accurate. "Separation of church and state" was a phrase that President Thomas Jefferson wrote in a letter in response to the Danbury Baptist Association, regarding their concerns about religious freedom. Jefferson wrote, "I contemplate with sovereign reverence the act of the whole American people that declared that their legislator would make no laws respecting an establishment of a religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."ACLU lawyers take this part of out of context and try to use it to strip away the rights of religious freedom in this country. The First Amendment states the following: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therefore; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Currently, more than 20 Ten Commandment cases are being litigated across this country, as the ACLU attempts to have the Ten Commandments removed from public places.
Changes To Religious Freedom
The moral climate of this nation started to take a turn when three landmark cases attacked the meaning of the First Amendment. In 1963, the Warren Court ruled that organized prayer in public schools was unconstitutional and these court case rulings, actually turned the First Amendment inside out from its original intent. We now have a secular religion for our public school systems, which violated the "establishment clause" by putting the restrictions on the people and not on the government.Since the 1963 Rulings...

Do you see a moral decline?
Words of Our Founding Forefathers
Patrick Henry: " It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here." (1776)President Abraham Lincoln's Proclamation for a National Day of Fasting, Humiliation, and Prayer, April 30, 1863. "It is the duty of nations as well as men, to own their dependence up the overruling power of God ...and recognize the sublime truth, announced in Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations are only blessed whose God is Lord. We have forgotten the gracious hand that preserved us... We have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own......... We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven...But we have forgotten God.... It behooves us, then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness."
If We Gods People
2 Chronicles 7:14
"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land."As a nation, we have been given an inheritance of the richest of blessings, because we were a nation that honored God and obeyed His commandments. We have known liberty, justice and freedom like no other nation on the face of the earth. Yet, minute by minute, our religious freedoms are being challenged and even taken from us.
What will our response be? Can we turn the tide on the moral decline?
Christ established for us the New Covenant, which fulfilled the law but did not destroy the law. The first four commandments tell us how to love and honor God and the other six commandments show us how we are to love and respect our neighbor as ourselves. This is how the Ten Commandments combines into the two greatest commandments. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. As God's people, we are to live according to all that Jesus represents, which includes the Ten Commandments and is at the very core of the moral foundation of this nation. Where your Spirit is Oh Lord, there is liberty, justice and freedom.
Out of our grateful hearts, for all that we've received, may we honor God with our unity. Let us in one accord unite together under God's Divine Providence and moral laws to change this nation. On July 4, 1776, a total of 56 men at great personal risk, stood up for all of America and signed their names to the Declaration of Independence. If we God's people, would stand and unite for all of America as did our forefathers before us, with humble repentant hearts and pray for this our nation, God said "He would hear us from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land."
